History: 282 Delaware, The Mathews Building, is located on a Buffalo historic site, specifically, the location of the former residence of Buffalo’s first and third mayor, Mayor Ebenezer Johnson. Johnson served from May 1832-1833 and from 1834-1835. The building covers a full city block. It faces Delaware Ave and it is bordered by S. Johnson Park and N. Johnson Park. The adjacent parking lot is accessed from Elmwood Avenue.

Travel Access: The building is uniquely situated for rapid and convenient access to the Skyway (Route 5), the 190N and 190S, the NY-33 via W. Tupper Street, the Buffalo International Airport, the downtown court system, City Hall, the Medical Corridor, Niagara Street, and Buffalo’s entertainment and cultural venues.
